Job details
We are a fast-growing distributed fintech startup based in Singapore and we're looking for a skilled technical QA to join our team. The position is remote, but we prefer candidates between GMT +2 and +8. We're looking for someone who can work 20 hours a week to start with, with the opportunity to scale to full-time depending on requirements. This is a technical position that requires the ability to look at source code, test endpoints and understand technical concepts.

Requirements:
- A background or experience in a technical role.
- The ability to look through code to verify the correctness of requirements.
- The ability to test HTTP endpoints with CURL, Postman or similar tools.
- The ability to write automated testing scripts with Selenium and similar tools.
- 2 years of experience in a QA role.
- Experience with PHP, Typescript and Python or other similar languages.
- Specific language experience isn't as important as the ability to read and understand code.
- Experience with Relational Databases and SQL queries.
- Ability to work independently and constructively with others.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work 20 hours per week.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Have a good internet connection, hardware available.
Plusses:
- Experience in a Fintech or financial services related development organization.
- Experience with code monitoring systems like Sentry and Sonarkube.
- Experience with banking API's.
- Experience with queues like SQS, Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with AWS and GCP.
