General Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Lead to lead our content strategy and execution for client websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong editorial background and experience redesigning websites that are customer centric. Exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of creating and managing engaging content across various digital platforms is essential. You will lead the content strategy for our client's website project, ensuring engaging, informative, and SEO-optimized content that drives conversions and stronger brand affinity. You will also lead the content creation process, manage content creators, review content, manage workflows, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a content strategy that aligns with client business goals.
Roles and responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy aligned with client objectives and target audience.
- Conduct competitor analysis and existing content audits to identify market context and opportunities better meet customer needs.
- Define strategic content pillars and create a compelling content calendar for various content types (blog posts, videos, product explainers, marketing landing pages, product description pages, etc.).
- Manage content creation workflow, assigning tasks to art copywriters, editors and art directors.
- Collaborate with designers, art directors, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and integration of content with the overall website experience.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve website visibility and organic traffic.
- Analyze content performance through web analytics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on content marketing trends and best practices, suggesting innovative content formats and techniques.
