- Good experience in railway trackside signalling projects and Railway Safety analysis and demonstration methods and tools.
• Able to perform dysfunctional analysis and degraded mode Analysis with Hardware or Software contributors. -
Technical knowledge: Signalling, ERTMS, CBTC, TCMS, MVB, ATP, ATO, SIFA , system design, Installation design, Installation Verification, Data Preparation.

Mastery of the latest versions of safety standards CENELEC 50126-50128-50657-50129 and ERTMS UNISIG Subsets (026-088-091-113).

Involvement & Validation of safety Integrity Level 2 or SIL4 functions, covered either by hardware or by software for the dedicated sub-systems.

Mastery of classic safety methodologies such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMECA), Safety Related Item list (SRIL), Fault Tree analysis (FTA).

Experience in project management related to safety studies & up to a project certification with an Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) in interface

CAD (electric/mechanic) application usage is an advantage.

Take responsibility for the overall performance of the system and the allocation of the project performance requirements and ensure that these requirements are met.

Control the collection of technical data (Data Book) and keep it up to date.

To participate in the Gate Reviews (give status on system activities).

To support application projects in Signalling in current and future projects.

Analyse and evaluate project specific requirements (customer and country specific).

Support the customer projects in the planning and execution phase and with the management of the applicable requirements.

Manage requirements of customers, authorities, internal HW/SW designer, Testers, validators, the technical project core team) and ensure a successful implementation of the Requirements Management Process in the project environment.

Elicit, analyse, validate, specify, verify and manage the requirements with a focus on customer projects.

Defining system requirements, system context and interfaces.

Configuration of product configuration according to the applicable requirements of the customer project

Identifying customer needs through close collaboration with the internal/external customers

Support for implementers, integrators, testers, validators (explain requirements, assess non-conformities) and homologation.
- Advanced University or Engineering degree (System, Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical engineering knowledge)
- Language skills: French and/or English will be your day-to-day languages: able to write English safety documentation / Call or face to face meeting to be done in English.
- Proven experience in signalling engineering within the railway industry, specifically in cutovers and interlocking works.
- Strong knowledge of relevant signaling systems, technologies, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using engineering design software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to propose innovative solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest quality of engineering deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changes, and meet project deadlines.
