Job Description
As a Design Desk Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, reporting directly to the Project Design Desk Manager. Your mission will be to ensure efficient project design coordination, deliver high-quality design solutions, and drive continuous improvement. By leveraging your expertise and passion for innovation, you will contribute to successful project outcomes and exceed client expectations.
Results You'll Generate:
- Efficient Project Design Coordination: Streamline workflows, reduce design bottlenecks, and ensure seamless collaboration among cross-functional teams.
- High-Quality Design Deliverables: Create accurate and compliant engineering designs, adhering to industry standards and client requirements.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and incorporating innovative design approaches.

- Engineering Expertise: Proficiency in relevant engineering disciplines, enabling you to understand and design solutions effectively.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and resolve design-related issues.
- Problem-solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify and address design challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Intelligent Diagram Software Proficiency: Proficient in using intelligent diagram software like Lucidchart or Visio to create detailed engineering designs and drawings.
- Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and advancements, driving innovation in design solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on design deliverables, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing technical support and expertise.
Requirements
- A home office set up that meets the following:
- A working computer with minimum of 8gb RAM, i5 Windows10 or macOS Big Sur.
- Stable internet connection with at least 5mbps download and upload.
- A quality headset with noise cancellation feature for meetings.
- A mobile phone that has the capacity to install the Microsoft Authentication app.
- HD webcam
- 2nd Monitor
- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) if using a desktop (Not needed if using a laptop)
Note: If you don't have a UPS or a secondary monitor, the company is willing to cover the initial expenses for acquiring these items. The total cost will be deducted from your salary over a three-month period.
- A very strong cultural fit the ITS way (Our core values will be discussed during the interview)
- Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written
- Able to work full time 40 hrs. a week: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST (Monday to Friday)
- Able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments.
- Must have at least 2 of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, 3cx Basic Certified Engineer.
- Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants).
Compensation
Pay rate ranges from $15.00/hr to 20.00/hr and vary by experience and location.
