SolidWorks Designer at ConnectOS

Salary: P60,000 to P80,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (09:00 AM - 06:00 PM AEST)

 

 

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Proficient in SolidWorks with particular attention to sheet metal, weldments, and detailed assemblies.
• Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of metal manufacturing processes (knowledge of other manufacturing processes is a plus).
• Proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft Office suite.
• Good communication skills, fluent in English, can confidently take briefs over teams or a similar platform.

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of joinery processes
• Working knowledge of plastic manufacturing (molding and fabrication) an advantage
• Working knowledge/experience with rendering or SW plug ins like keyshot.
• Experience with flow analysis
• AutoCAD experience
• Can speak/read Mandarin is a plus.

 

What will you do?

• Taking a concept render or part/block model and transforming it into a highly detailed design.
• Selecting the most efficient and readily available manufacturing processes for each part..
• Sharing files and working on designs from other team members.
• Following established protocols for single body/part modelling within a larger assembly.
• Creating production drawings with a high degree of accuracy.
• Exporting final designs in DXF format for manufacturing.
• Working closely with design and manufacturing teams in Australia and China.
